All scholarships require being a graduating senior from EVHS, as well as acceptance to an accredited college.
These are general qualifying guidelines, please read the applications carefully.

Healthcare Career Scholarship ($1,000)
  • Be pursuing a career in a traditional field of healthcare.
  • Have participated in extra-curricular school and/or community activities.

New! Elkhorn Valley FBLA Scholarship ($500)
  • Active member of EV FBLA.
  • Preference to students pursuing the study of business or business related career.

New! EV Red Cross Scholarship ($500 or more)
  • Volunteered at EV Red Cross blood drives.
  • Preference to students pursuing a career in the field of health care.

Elizabeth Deckert Teacher Scholarship (varies)

  • Be pursuing a teaching degree.

Jeans Day Scholarship ($600)

  • Handwritten essay.
  • Submit application.

Paul & Carrie Corkle Scholarship ($600)

  • Ranked in the upper third of the class.

Paul Cooper Memorial Scholarship (varies)

  • Financial need.
  • Student's overall 4-year GPA, must be at least C+ average (2.0+ GPA).
  • Overall character of the student.
  • Expected to major in (in order of preference): 1) Fine Arts;
    2) School Counseling; 3) Any specialized area in vocational education.

Robert & Joan Hodgson Memorial Scholarship

($1,250 each / 2 awarded)

  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • A student who is attending a 2- or 4-year college program.

Jolette Henry Scholarship

  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Musical interests or general interests.

Christian Mucker Memorial Scholarship (varies)

  • A student active in the music department.

Connita Neitzke Memorial Scholarship ($150)

  • Grade point average of at least a C or equivalent.
  • Enrolled in college with a major or minor in music;
    second priority a senior planning to major or minor in music;
    third priority planning to major in education.
  • The recipient will receive $150 to be used for the college of their choice.

Elkhorn Valley Alumni Scholarship ($500)

  • Grade point average of C+ or higher (2.75 GPA).

Tilden Alumni Scholarship ($300)

  • Grade point average of C+ or higher (2.75 GPA).

Hofmann Memorial Scholarship ($500)

  • Rank in the upper half of the class.

The Tilden Bank Scholarship ($500)

  • Participant in extra-curricular school and/or community activities.

VFW Scholarship ($100 savings bond)

  • Awarded to one male and one female.
  • Veteran connected (parent or grandparent).
  • Submit essay describing future educational plans.

TMG Wrestling Scholarship (varies)

  • Involved with wrestling.
  • Awarded during second year of college.

Fritz & Mamie Johnson Scholarship (varies)

  • Overall character of the student, and the likelihood that he or she
    will complete the requirements for a bachelor's degree.
  • Student's overall grade average, which must be at least a C+.
  • The student's need for financial assistance.
  • The student's participation in extra-curricular, community, and/or school activities.

Legion Auxiliary Citizenship Award ($75)

  • A senior GIRL selected by the Legion Auxiliary.
  • No application required.

EV Booster Club Scholarship ($250)

  • Present at honors night.
  • Submit application.
  • Answer the question in 100 words or more.

  • Have been accepted at an accredited university, college or vocational school.

Hospital Auxiliary Medical Scholarship ($100)
